Easter Fun!
During the last week of the Spring term before the Easter break the school participates in several Easter themed events.
Every year the children take part in the local art show which is held in the village hall over the Easter weekend. Every child chooses their favourite piece of art work to enter into the competition. Judges from the Art Society come into school to decide on the winners, one from each class.
It was a very difficult decision this year due to the good standard of work produced by the children.
We also hold our annual ‘egg competition’. Each child can design and make a decorated egg. They can choose any theme they like but it must be created in school by the children themselves.
There were some great entries this year!
Our final Easter event is on the last day when we try to find the Easter bunny! He often visits school the evening before and leaves a small gift for us. We enjoy following his footprints and looking everywhere for him!
