Our end of year whole school visit was to Whitby beach. The day started sunny but unfortunately the rain came and although warm we all ended up a bit soggy! We still had a great time! There was some brilliant team work digging channels and building sandcastles.

Victorian Times! As part of our history work, helping to extend their knowledge, the children in Galtres class carried out a project about the local area during the Victorian period. They considered the development of the railways with the inventions by George Stephenson and also how the local farming communities lived and went to school....
